Zbatimi i projektit “Edukimi Mediatik – Ekspertiza Nordike në Kosovë” ka vazhduar edhe në Komunën e Podujevës, ku patëm kënaqësinë të takojmë mësimdhënësit dhe nxënësit e shkollës “Shaban Shala”, për të ndarë më shumë rreth rëndësisë së edukimit mediatik në arsimin parauniversitar.

Së bashku me Ambasadoren e Finlandës në Kosovë, Kryetarin e Komunës së Podujevës dhe Konsullin e Norvegjisë në Kosovë, diskutuam për rolin kyç që mësimdhënësit kanë në zhvillimin e mendimit kritik te nxënësit, si dhe për mënyrën se si praktikat nordike në edukimin mediatik mund të përshtaten dhe të zbatohen në shkollat e Kosovës përmes këtij projekti.

Një pjesë e veçantë e takimit ishte edhe bashkëbisedimi me nxënësit, ku dëgjuam drejtpërdrejt përvojat dhe nevojat e tyre lidhur me përdorimin e mediave digjitale, duke theksuar rëndësinë e orientimit të hershëm drejt përdorimit të sigurt dhe të përgjegjshëm të informacionit.

Përmes këtij projekti, Education Empowerment Initiative (EEI) synon të fuqizojë mësimdhënësit dhe nxënësit, duke sjellë përvojën dhe praktikat më të mira nordike në edukimin mediatik dhe duke kontribuar në ndërtimin e një kulture të qëndrueshme të mendimit kritik në shkollat tona.

Ky projekt financohet nga Këshilli Nordik i Ministrave, me mbështetjen e ambasadave nordike në Kosovë.

Media Literacy – Nordic Expertise Project Continues in Podujeva

The implementation of the project “Media Literacy – Nordic Expertise in Kosovo” has continued in the Municipality of Podujeva, where we had the pleasure of meeting teachers and students of the “Shaban Shala” school to discuss the importance of media literacy in education.

Together with the Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, the Mayor of Podujeva, and the Consul of Norway in Kosovo, we discussed the key role teachers play in fostering critical thinking among students, as well as how Nordic media literacy practices can be adapted and applied in Kosovo’s schools through this project.

An important part of the visit was also the discussion with students, where we heard directly about their experiences and needs related to the use of digital media, highlighting the importance of early guidance towards safe and responsible use of information.

Through this project, Education Empowerment Initiative (EEI) aims to empower teachers and students by bringing Nordic experience and best practices in media literacy, contributing to the development of sustainable critical thinking skills in Kosovo’s schools.
